The Creator's Accountants is a trading name of Kodiak Financial Ltd, registered in England & Wales. Kodiak Financial Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us at hello@thecreatorsaccountant.co.uk.

What we collect through this site

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. We only receive personal information when you choose to contact us, by WhatsApp or by email. That will typically include your name or working name, your contact details and whatever you tell us about your situation.

WhatsApp

If you contact us through WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under their own privacy policy, as well as by us. Only our client team sees your messages, and we never share them.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and provide accountancy services you ask for.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations as accountants, including anti-money-laundering checks where we take you on as a client.
• We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone except where the law requires it (for example HMRC filings you have asked us to make).

Confidentiality

We understand the nature of creator businesses and treat every enquiry with strict confidence. We use the name you ask us to use in day-to-day contact. Your legal name is used only where legally required, such as on HMRC paperwork.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages that do not become client relationships are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for the periods required by UK tax and anti-money-laundering law, normally 6 years after the end of the engagement.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal information we hold about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, email hello@thecreatorsaccountant.co.uk.
